Silence

Silence is a sexually transmitted disease
burning just below the surface
undetected for years.

Silence for one person is normal.
Silence for two is pathological.

Silence is what is left after two brains are picked
for the longest time.

Silence is what remains after you've said
everything you were able to say and
what you hear when you have heard everything
the other has to say.

Silence is what you say when you have
exhausted your supply of words.
